Could my IQ actually be decreasing?

I used to be getting scores of 120+. recently i took exactly the same test and only got 119 on the first try.

is it possible that I've become less intelligent? can your iq score change? what can i do to make it improve?

Edit: 100 views and no replies??

id be interested to know what everyone else gets in this test:

Yup I guess so. If you want an accurate test you could try the Mensa one. I've heard you have to pay for it though.

X.

IQ doesn't really change, not much you can do to improve it unless you lack very basic levels of mathematical/reading ability in which case taking a course in said subjects would probably help you to improve it.

The Mensa test is about 2 hours long, online tests at best will give you a rough indication however to get an accurate measurement you need to sit a real IQ test which i don't think are offered for free outside of the education system. Your score dropping by 6 or so points is not an indication that your IQ is getting lower since the tests you are taking are far from accurate and that could easily be down to you getting a few harder questions or being tired at the time.

136, which apparently puts me above average. Though it's bull**** imo, you still need to put in work to get grades, research to get a job etc. and I personally think that intelligence does drop from lack of intellectually stimulating activities and vice versa.

I thought it was 160 to be generally accepted as a 'genius' in terms of IQ?
