i cant understand what its asking

Write an equation for the reduction of pentan-2-one by aqeuos NaBH4 to form pentan-2-ol
Use [H] to represent the reductant

you know i jst looked back at my working at my first answer was
C5H10O +2[H] --- > C5H11 OH
( same as urs jst in diff format )
lol i looked back and was thinking too deep into it

NP mate. I'm just thinking though, even though that is the same as mine but in a different format, they might want the structural formula as that one might be ambiguous?

I can't remember, it's a whole month since I had to cram all this rubbish!
