Gaining weight in the wrong places!

I have always been really skinny and for a long time I've wanted to put on a bit of weight to get some curves. Recently I have put on a tiny bit, but the problem is I've gained weight around my thighs and not where I actually want to be bigger (my chest - it's quite flat!).

I also have quite a chubby face and chin, but I'm not sure whether there's anything I can do about that.

Does anyone have any solutions or advice? I would be really grateful.

People lose and gain weight in different places, I know when I was bigger the first place I went skinny was my face meaning I looked totally out of proportion lol

I don't think you can control where you gain it, but doing exercises specifically targetted at toning up the bigger areas might help you. I'm sure if you kept gaining weight your chest would eventually get bigger, but then so would the rest of you.

Good luck anyway

Unfortunately for women, we tend to gain weight around the thighs and stomach (pear shape) or around the midsection (apple shape). Gaining more weight will def make ur chest size expand but so will the rest of you! :frown:

If you want to perk up your chest try doing

3 x bench pressess,
push ups
and dumbell flyes, starting at a low weight and then gradually increasing them, this will strengthen and build up ur chest muscles........look the excercises up ova the internet.

You cannot choose where you want fet reserves to be stored. If you want to sculpt your body, you can either
1. change the % of fat in your body, but not specifically where.
2. increase the size of certain parts by stimulating muscle growth in those, through weight training.

I suggest you talk to a pro, go to a gym, ask a personal trainer (though they sometimes are poorly educated, see the net and books too), sign for a membership.

Happy gaining!
