this has been taken rediculously far....
1. do what is comfortable for you. not what someone else wants. do what you want and what you feel comfortable with
2. if you dont know what to do then experiment, shave it all off and if you dont like it you can let it grow back and you know not to do it again, you can have a landing strip or you can just keep it well trimmed.

-if someone has it all shaved off then they do if someone doesnt then they dont, why are you attacking people for their own personal preferance?
-you cant narrow it down their preferance to because thats how porn stars have it or because their partner prefers it. yeah so what if their partner prefers it and you are doing it for them, whats wrong with that?
-it shouldnt be assumed that because someone doesnt shave however that it is dirty because its not if you clean well which if your not doing then shaving it all off wont exactly help.
-its nicer for a guy when they go down on you that you do have it trimmed tho because it cant be enjoyable having hair in your mouth can it?

and before someone accuses me of shaving for my partner or whatever. i dont shave although i have tried it and no i didnt like it, it takes loads of maintenance to keep it smooth, i personally dont think it looks that good and i was clean to start off with having no hair didnt make a difference!

3) Shaven the whole lot, except for a narrow landing strip (or silly shape like a thunderbolt if you develop the skill) above your pussy

Well I decided last year after going on a ski trip where my two best friends walked around the room naked (they're not lesbians!) and were completely shaved, that I should do the same thing. So I got home and got out the Immac and took it all off, and I quite liked it. I went along merrily trimming it totally bare on regular occassions until Google threw up a picture of a porn picture involving a woman. I was immediately horrified that the woman's bits looked nothing like mine. I stood in front of the full length mirror in my bathroom and saw that my inner labia protruded a bit, not at all like the woman in the picture I saw. I was absolutely petrified that I was abnormal and I thought any guy I would be with would be totally repulsed by this, especially as it is so obvious with all the hair gone. Also whilst we were skiing I was going to say to my friend "I'm freezing my tits off" but for some reason I said "I'm freezing my nether regions off!" and my friend turned around and said "Well, I don't have any bits which could freeze off, and I hope you don't either..." - I was totally gutted and I feel like I'm the only person in the world like this. I still feel really insecure about this area of my body and I partly want to cover up the labia with hair so that they are less visible, but part of me wants to stay shaven because I like it better. I prefer shaven because of the general feeling of cleanliness especially during my period, and the fact that I feel fresher for longer after a shower, but I am still worried about what a guy will say when he sees the inner lips.

My contribution on the discussion is don't do anything you don't want to do to your pubic hair, and if you are really bothered about what your b/f will think, ask him before you get so intimate for him to have seen that area. You can then choose to have your 'do like his preference, or you can keep it the way you like. If a guy does not want to be with you because of your choice of pubic hairstyle then you deserve better.
