I just remember seeing a thread about it last summer during exam time..and well wondered what the side effects were and whether its worth taking just for revision. Also i am not sure if it was prozac-- that just stuck in my head so i thought i would ask.

Do you mean pro-plus? Begins with a 'P'.

Prozac is used to treat depression (and other things) pro-plus contains caffiee and acts as a stimulus, to keep to awake and active during revision. Not sure if its the best thing though, sometimes a good nights sleep if what you need to perform best on an exam
Pro plus are just caffeine tablets that help you stay awake during exams and whatever, but it can seriously mess up your sleeping pattern. Take 1 or 2 tablets a day for maximum effects.
These work best on an empty stomach. Don't rely on them though because they're not as great as everyone says. Actually they can be quite good if you take 3, but that's not advised.

Heh, I wouldn't mess with the stuff even if prescribed by a doctor, unless it was a biopsychologist with a VERY VEEEERY good reputation. Local GP's can **** right off, they throw antidepressants around like skittles.

Damn right, anti-depressants can actually do more harm than good, especially with children\teenagers.
