Group 4 project

Can anyone explain to me what exactly is required for Group 4(i.e. the sciences)? I know that we have to do the Group 4 project but can you explain in detail how you go about doing this? My teacher says that we have to complete another project as well for each science together with the Gp 4 project. (you see, i'm currently studying in this school full of incompetent fools and nobody knows what the IB requirements are.)
