Cold Steel's what i'd have said too - you'll probably need to make an appointment as they're busy.

how bout tattoos?

Reply 4

Check BME coz I don't do tattoos

i had my first tattoo in a place called 'blue skin' in camden - i dont know a huge amount about tattoos or piercings, but they seemed clean, gave me plenty of advice on aftercare etc and i have had no problems. I think around the area the general minimum price no matter the size was 50 quid.

Is it not charged by the hour?

Reply 7

wel mine only took 45 minutes and it was 50 quid. its quite small - possibly once you go over an hour thats how they charge! this was over a year ago tho

Depends on the studio. Some charge by the hour, some charge depending on what you have done, and almost all have a minimum charge of around £30-£40.

Cold Steel is good for piercing...I wouldn't trust a single one of the tattoo studios on the high street, given some of the horrors I've seen people I know come out with.

cold steel it is by the sounds of it.. sounds like teh best place from what i've heard...

Reply 10

personally i wouldn't even trust buying earrings off someone in the high street

once i was given a flyer for a beauty parlour there offering bikini waxes for a fiver...

Yeah, it has a huge silver 3D BCR on the front of the building. But the actual studio is up a little pokey flight of stairs and surprisingly easy to miss...

Thought so, although there are several crazy piercing places aroung Camden IIRC.

Thanx ppl for ur advice.... definitely going to cold steel because it is the only one listed on the association of professional piercers website.. plus i checked out their sterilisation techniques etc and they seem pretty cool... also the guy on the phone was really nice and told me the precautions to take b4 comin in.. unlike eclipse.

The important thing is have you booked an appointment as you could be in for disappointment if you haven't and what have you decided on having done?

Reply 16

haven't yet but spoke to the guy and should be ok.. having my tongue pierced.. just the once for now... will be making an appointment as soon as i speak to my friend who is coming with me.
