Going soft.....

And i don't know why :frown:

I'm only 19 and this never used to happen.

When i'm having sex or masturbating i'll often lose my erection. It's obviously very embarrassing when i'm with a girl and she wonders why i've gone soft. It's like i've lost the ability to keep it erect and i have no explanation for it :frown:

It's not nerves.... so what else could be the course of this problem??

Please help me... it's really ruining my life.

Are you a cyclist, or do you put much pressure on the base of your penis in any of your day to day activities?

The most common reason for people is because they get knackered, as in, physically exhausted. Good way to combat this is to keep the room cool and circulated. Turn off radiators, keep the windows open, have a cold drink beforehand and have one on standby. Might help.

Being pissed can affect performance in my experience :p: not that I've ever had the dreaded, 'brewers droop', but it certainately doesn't help!

Go and see your doctor. They will do blood tests etc to see if there is any physical reason why its happening. The problem is that once its happened once is that it can also become a psychological problem.

Simple solution - viagra :p:
Handy
Simple solution - viagra :p:

It's only available on prescription and generally isn't available on the NHS. However, many doctors will prescibe it to you as a priviate prescription.

Viagra at 19?!?

No. There's got to be a reason for this that can be solved without viagra.

Anyone know any possible reasons? :frown:

And it's not alcohol, i rarely drink a lot.

To be fair anyone who is having sex enough for this to be an issue does naturally get out more than I.
Aren't cock rings supposed to help?

Also, why does everybody attack people who mention sex in this forum? Is it jealousy or something?

For once I don't think the doctor is the answer.

If you are nineteen, puberty is basically coming to an end. So you will be like all guys - hard pushed to keep it up if you are very tired or stressed. Seriously you are not the only person with this 'problem'!

HOWEVER if you really think this is happening regularly without you feeling stressed/tired for any reason, then doctor may be right. As someone said though, if it has happened once, it will play on your mind when you next have sex. Try to relax, and don't feel pressured.
Nerves? Sometimes if you worry about something too much, it happens.
