Do you have like oily skin or something? Try using an oil free soap and a hair remover.

I get similar prob with havin lighter skin and i think its dry skin prob - moisturise! As for the hair round eyes, are you south asian and have black hair? If yea then thats why. Generally, south asians have more visible hair and around your eyes is prob where your barber might have brushed over with his trimmer or razor.

Just use some hair removal cream for your face and for the lighter skin, moisturise after shaving with some balm or whatever

Well, lets think about it. Do you shave with a razor? If so, when you shave you're basically "exfoliating" that area of skin. But the rest of your face isnt exfoliated so the exposure to the sun so tanned (yes, winter tan) dead skin etc, is more prominent. Hope this makes sense.

That can be removed by exfoliating and other techniques.

Hi all. Not a big thing but I was wodering, I am brown skinned and when I shave the area I shave is lighter than say my forehead/area. I also have hair very close to my eyes and around that ever. What should I do? Thanks in advance.

its due to 2 reasons.

1) when you shave, you end up exfoliating the skin (ie removing dead cells from the surface). the paler 'newer' skin is smoother, but also lighter in colour as it has not had exposure to develop a tan. to sove this maybe using a facial scrub or buf puf on your forehead might help even it out.

2) the skin covered by hair is protected from the sun, so when the hair comes off, the untanned skin shows. the only solution is to shave more often so all the skin is all hair free all the time
