This is for any students who are applying to universities across the UK for a course in, or related to Events Management (UCAS N820). Although applications have already been sent and offers are still coming out, I'm sure there are a few people out there who still are waiting to hear back.

If you could post:

Reason for Event Management
At school I've been heavily involved in organizing a great amount of events. I've created my own charity organization, The Aqua Initiative, and among many other things organize a major carnival each year for World Water Day. That is what started my passion for organizing events. I've continued it for the past five years raising tens of thousands of pounds. When I was President of the Student Council I organized monthly events from concerts, to assemblies, to sales, to full school discos and house days. I've also organized the Middle East and Dubai's only MUN conference, DIAMUN and been heavily involved in activities such as that. I'm really passionate about event management and get a lot of pleasure out of it. It's something I've come to really enjoy and be good at. I hope I get some good acceptances and continue a career in this field.
