I decided to get up early and come to Uni to write an essay, but I'm knackered and I can't focus at all. The words just aren't coming to me.

Pretty much. I've managed to hammer out 300 words in 15 minutes though... and am now taking a break. 300 words of fluff, of course, as to be honest I don't have a clue what I'm writing about.

450 now. But seriously I'm just making it all up. Ahh well, I'm only going for a "pass" anyway, which is a D-. I was planning on not doing it at all, but then I thought I might as well, as a lame pass is better than an automatic zero. I usually get a C for these 'rushed' essays anyway, simply for my perfect grammar, syntax and punctuation :p:.

Incidentally, does anyone know anything about the "public strangling" method of execution used in WWII era China? How was it done? i.e. was it with bare hands? Rope? Some form of garotting?

Writers block is easy to cope with. just take a biiiiig board, and whack it across your forehead. when you come too, you'll automatically know what to write. Of course it should probably be noted that anytyhing you do write will be complete gibberish, but youll feel better at a job well done for a little bit at least.
