Theres this guy at work that i've been txting...its early days and we havent been on a date or anything yet. He's 24 and im only 18...is the age gap 2 big?
i suppose not but there might be some minor, or even major, issues which could arise; however, each relationship is unique and the only way you'd find them out is by going for it.
That's a rule of thumb to see whether the age gap is ok...so half his age ie. 12, add 7, = 19. Technically you are a bit too young. And I, being an old fashioned so-and-so tend to agree.
Are u at uni or plannin on going to uni in the near future. Could put a strain on the relaintionship (if one did occur) if it is long distance. Otherwise there is no real prob with the age gap. My parents had 10 years between them and other people have even more.
That sounds fine, seeing as your over 16! My boyfriend is 6 years older than me too. It's not just age that matters though, things like life experiences, where you're both going in life, maturity etc come in to playin a relationship. I'd date him and find out what he's like at least!
Nah, that's fine! You're old enough to make your own decisions, i'd say. I'm 21 and my boyfriend is 34 and we get on great - if it's the right person age won't come into it much
I'd always be more wary of age gaps at 15-17 yrs but I'd say once you're 18 the age gap thing isn't really an issue anymore.. unless hes old enough to be your dad which he isnt! So dont worry about it!

Once your 18 I dont think it matters, when your younger than that it can be dodgy.
