Major Problem Serious

hello i am a 29 yr old male i have a serious problem i have mental health issues i have started to fancy my support worker who is a young female not naming names , she runs an activty group once a week which i go to i have started to have very strong feelings for her i am starting also to get angrey that this will lead to no where if i ask her out which is i know a bad idea
how do i deal with this inner rage i do not have the guts to do harm to myself, but i can not get these strong feelings of fancying this mental health support worker,
i need some advice and help these STRONG feelings really hurt

Firstly, it may be a good idea to tell someone else about the rage you have with fancying her, and maybe you should change support worker, if your feelings for her are taking you over.

Whatever advice we give, it wont make the feelings any softer.

Firstly you need to assess the extent of your feelings. You've obviously recognised that this may not be the most advisable of relationships to persue since there is unwritten code of conduct between Support Worker and client. However, there's less pressure on this type of relationship than say a Student-Teacher one, so don't outrule it once and for all. Perhaps you could change support workers and make thing less awkard? ^o)

The best advice would be talking to friends, family or a local helpline to help and curve that rage for your feelings. Remember, this is completely natural, and it's a completely understandable situation. I can see why you are frustrated, but first of all, calm down and think about your situation. :biggrin:
