pleased that the hamster has made some progress and is now in HDU instead of ICU.

glad to see that james and jezza have been visiting him and keeping us informed on his condition by talking to the press instead of just leaving it to other newspapers that are uninformed and just speculating and if anything causing more distress to family and friends.

has anyone seen jezzas comments in the sun? how he made richard smile when he told him he was a cr*p driver. and james' interview in the telegraph was just lovely - such a moving article.

That is good news, looks like the hamster will pull through.

They are all best mates deep down, i found it nice when 'captain slow' said: 'i hope he get's better sooon, and goes back to the Richard Hammond i know and love'... That was touching.

I don't read the Sun..

I don't read the Sun..
neither do i usually, but i wanted to see what jezza had to say. especially after the totally insanly speculative article published in the daily mail about jezza saying richard had a "50-50" chance of survival. and also i work in a newsies so i get to read the papers for free.

i can live without top gear for 6 months - i can get my hammond, may and clarkson fixes from elsewhere...plus the dvd box set that was meant to be released last monday is being released tomorrow so that'll help to ease the withdrawal symptoms. plus there's battle of the geeks, james' wine adventure with oz clarke, clarksons book thats supposed to be out soon and numerous repeats on UKTV people etc. yeh, should get through the next 6 months - no trouble!
