Best most delicious houmous ever? Watch

    God, I love houmous. It's such an amazing snack (and incredibly great as a substitute for mayo on wraps or whatever). I'm aware it's quite high in fat, but as long as you don't eat too much of it - and to be honest, I really don't care when it tastes this good. My god I see the end of that tub way too quickly.

    Best most delicious houmous you've tried?

    There's a really good red pepper one in Tesco (own brand, I think), and there was a really good lemon and coriander Sainsburies one I had. I usually like ones with added things in there.

    I usually eat mine with doritos or carrot sticks. It's really good with carrots, actually.

    It's delectable..I like sainsbury's, tescos. The pepper or paprika one is so nice! I usually use breadsticks or crisps or cheese.

    Tesco's do a low fat one with jalapeño (diacritics? lol autocorrect u so fancy...) and red pepper. It's actually amazing.

    I think people are mad for buying houmous, a bag of dried chickpeas costs basically nothing. Add some lemon, garlic, oil and a little seasoning and you've got a basic houmous for a fraction of the supermarket cost.

    Generally speaking I'm boring, I just like a roasted pepper one.

    Black Olive Humous on just about everything, very nice with warm pitta bread!

    I think it's M&S that do a proper one with the oil on top, herbs & whole chickpeas. :sogood:

    I adore piri piri humous.

    Especially when sweet chilli snack-a-jacks are dunked in it.

    Most of the Humous I eat is what my mum makes. The best ones are the restaurant ones though.

    Roasted pine nut hummus is absolutely delicious. Especially with Ritz crackers or plain pita bread.
