Green eyed monster

Basically ive been in a relationship for about 8 months now, and everythings fine. we've had a few hiccups along the way but we've resolved everything.

But i keep having one problem i get very very jealous of my girlfriend. i want all of her attention to be focused on me and i want her to always want to be with me over her friends.

I dont really have much of a good reason for this but after some soul searchng i think im a slight attention seeker, but its weird because i get quite alot of attention from people as it is.

Basically any ideas to help me become less jealous etc etc

i know it sounds cliche... but imagine if it was the other way around and SHE was jealous that you wanted to be with your mates sometimes... you'd probably be annoyed, eh?
