do you have a frindge? the grease from your hair may not be helping.
You can buy some special soap from boots which costs about £11 a bar. Clears up spots like a pedophile can clear out a nursary.

Me too

What about tea tree oil? Any good? I'm acually getting annoyed at it because it seems to just make my skin more oilier :frown:

Sweat causes spots - makes the pores blocked. And grease from your hair/fringe. Try pinning up your fringe - if you have one, when you're playing sports. And always wash your skin after sweating. I also heard that your pillow case can 'cause' spots, so change it regularly and see if it makes a difference.

use pure aloe vera.
is fantastic. it did wonders for my brother's really awful acne in a matter of days. also avoid oily foods, fatty foods, avoid touching them.
if you hate the way the look so much hide them with foundation. even though u r a guy u can still do that.:P

ah yes.. pillow cases are evil culprits. you get all the grease from your hair on them which in turn goes onto your face... bah.

I can't for the life of me remember. I had a quick search on the boots website but with no success. I'll try and post the name tomorrow. Failing that just pop into boots and ask. Preferably one of the larger boots.

P.S. Also feel honoured that i'm giving a serious response.

it does make a difference, if you have a really spotty face all the oil, pigment etc from your head go to your pillow, when i had acne i started changin my pillowcase everyday and it worked:smile:

I'm a girl! Very much so, I do modelling part-time through uni and am a regular user of this site, but I would die if anyone found out it was me posting

You see I don't regularly have acne, but it's flaring up for some reason lately :frown:
I went to a chinese herbalist and got this lotion stuff and it has worked wonders!!

its called 'acne getaway' but it may have other names (as chinese medicine can be a bit ambiguous)

comes in a small pink bottle and is about £9 I think, but it really does work

after years of wasting my time and money on oxy, clearsil etc im now free of spots!.

id fully recommend going and seeing what a chinese herbalist can offer.

I never had spots on my forehead till the first week of uni, and they went after about 4 weeks, a couple of weeks ago they came back and now theyre going. I think for me its stress related.

Use BPO 5, which you can buy in any pharmacy. It really does help, although it might not be your best bet if you hve sensitive skin. Or simply go and see a dermatologist. I never used to have acne, but I did go through a "bad skin" perion, he prescribed me antibiotics and despite everybody's preconceptions towards antibiotics for acne, they really did help me

I like the sound of it  Does it cause your skin to go flakey at all? Because some of the things ive tried lately have done.

And about that bar of soap from boots...does that make your skin go dry or flakey or anything?
Anyone?
