And apparently it is less sensitive but i can't obviously compare. I have heard of less chance of getting cancer and infections - but don't know how much truth there is in it.

nein.. the bit which is meant to be under the foreskin is normally kept moist.. or at least protected by the foreskin.. if the foreskin isn't there, then obviously the end of your penis is going to get dried out and sore by your clothes.. i mean, try running your toung on some material and that gets dry after a bit.. same *kind of* thing..

Well if it's religious it's usually done when very young so it's not really an issue.
