probably not the best idea to get rid of them tbh.. the root of any mole goes extremely deep, and if you rip it out (eugh) then it will bleed terribly. of course after the bleeding stops, you will still be left with the root and probably a nice scar too.

if you want them removed, i suggest you go to your doctor, and see if he can help by directing you to a hospital for an operation to get them removed. (true - my friend was going to have one removed and had to go to the hospital for an operation... though she backed out at the last minute because she was scared lol!)
i just had one removed from my arm.. It started going funny.. anyway..

They cut them out.. i mean, when i looked in the jar afterwards i was expecting to see a little slither of skin. Ohhh no. They really gouge them out.
Now i have 4 super sexy stitches!!

i dont think they do it for cosmetic reasons, if there is any reason to think they may be cancerous they remove them pretty quickly for you. But I've been told to expect a nice scar.. oh joy

Yeah, i think that you'll need to pay for if you want it removed for cosmetic purposes.

You can definitely have them removed, if it's for medical reasons, insurance will pay for it, if it's for cosmetiv reasons, you pay. I'm having one removed on Thursday because it was the result of a sunburn, so it might be dangerous and I don't have to pay for it. it's rather small, but as someone else said, they go pretty deep so I don't know how it'll end up scar wise...
