Hi all,

I was just wondering if a graduate with a degree in BSc Government and Economics (LL12) would run into any problems in looking for a job in the Investment Banking sector, compared to a BSc Economics (L101) graduate?

I applied for LL12 in order to keep my options open as I'm considering going into politics, but I wonder if I've disadvantaged myself in any way should I opt for a career in Investment Banking.

Thanks. =]

Me? :confused:

I think your chances are fine... not as strong as the L101s though. It's best to find out from those who are at LSE obviously.

What's better then:

L100 from UCL

or LL12 (Govt. + Eco) at LSE

Either one would land you an interview, and from then on it's down to you, not the degree.

Fair enough. =)

I was just wondering if L101 @ LSE was more preferred.

Uh, of course I do.

What makes you think I don't know what an IB does?

And what gives you the right to say my attitude sucks, just because i say I want to read G&E?

People would yes- but which people? Employers or people who don't have a clue and see LSE and go mad for it?
