honestly is the best policy they're hardly going to believe it just appeared
gd luck they'll be fine, this is what insurance is for

if the car is parked on the road outside your house, you could say that some other car hit it

Reply 3

nah i cant tell them, consequences are a bit steep....not just money wise...

nah its parked in my driveway :frown: but thx

Reply 4

Oh dear. That's what you get for driving their car!

Are you usually allowed to drive their car or not?

If you really can't tell them just ignore it. Pretend you don't know a thing about it. Then they might just think something hit it.

How old are you?

Is it parked in the street or on a driveway?

Driveway...

If you live next to a council estate, or if u have really rowdy kids walking about your area then you can always blame it on them.....

Reply 9

Oh yes. Driveway. Oh well - what option do you have other than to tell them then?

Reply 10

just deny all knowledge of the car

Reply 11

if they didn't want you to be in it in the first play then shame.

karma

Reply 12

yeh dumping the car in a ditch...then being like 'what car?!' IS an option,

i'm 18 to answer ur question.

they didnt mind me being in it in the first place. i didnt steal it lol!

Reply 13

and no council estate....i live in suburban surrey : s not really full of street crime...unfortunately lol

Be a man, own up to your actions, show some strength of character. If you dont have license / insurance, then I hope you get hung by the neck.

surrey has estates lol i live in suburban surrey and theres an estate up the road lol (besides the point i know)

if its just the mirror and not the windcreen then i dont think that'll cost to much. maybe run to tesco express and buy chocolates, tidy the house, cook dinner, etc etc then sit them down and gently explain.

or! quickly find the yellow pages and get as much info on the repairs as possible so they dont have to.

or! if the morror isnt smashed then stick it back on glue cellotape gum glue preferably
