If the police question you, tell them what the kids were doing, and tell them (truthfully) what you said to the kids. If that doesn't work, and you're cautioned, get in touch with a lawyer, as you are completely in the right here. Do you have any proof / evidence that the kids scratched your car? Do they have any proof / evidence that you swore at them?

Grr... I hate mouthy little brats... and their parents, who think the sun shines out of their arses.
tell the parents what you told the kids. To **** off! LOL, thats what i would do! Silly brats, hate kids who freaking scratch ur ride and thinks it ok!! Arghhhhh!
oh yeah n if there were any CCTV cams around, even better.

Some kids were scratching my car and I told them to **** off.

Now they've come back with their parents and threatened the call the police!

I did nothing wrong!!! They shouldn't have been scratching my car!

What do I do?

What tards, this 7 foot thick as sh** chav stole the saddle from a mates bike and said if he told anyone he'd get his mates on them.

They somehow think they're in the right and above the law.

Scum chavs...
I'm 15 so if I caught kids doing it to my parents car I could beat them lol. Quick smack round then face and send them on their way. *Dusts Hands*

i was just wondering........because if they're older teenagers then you swearing at them will seem less harsh than if they're like......8 years old...
hmmm but maybe its just me....:hmmm:
You haven't committed an offence by saying an expletive to kids, however old they are, and if you haven't committed an offence you can't be charged with anything. Like the police are going to follow up a complaint of this nature from the parents! I don't think you have anything to worry about, but I would be majorly pissed off though, must be so maddening. Some kids nowadays...hehe I sound really old now:biggrin:
Seriously, you haven't done anything anyone else wouldn't do, I really wouldn't worry about it, this sort of problem has happened to people I know many times before and nothing has ever come out of it.

that happened to my bicycle, then the whole thing got stolen. It was so evil too, because I had paid for it, and it had sentimental value because my gran helped me pick it out. Oh, yeah, and I needed it to get to school, I couldn't afford public transportation.
