I am going to a party as a Parisienne (well, the stereotypical view of one)- luckily the shops are full of stripey tops and I already have some huge black sunglasses.

I thought a beret would finish the outfit perfectly- I was wondering if any had seen any in any of the highstreet stores.I would quite like one!

Thanks, Hannah x

Oooh this thread reminds me!! Did anyone by any chance was Britain's Psychic Challenge? If so did you see the type of hats Trisha wore? I think theyre so cute but can't find one (or a picture of one at that) anywhere! Theyre kind of like a beret but more round and not worn to the side reeli bad description. Sorry for hijacking the thread anyhoo! xoxox

Topshop It's where I got mine from about three weeks ago.

They're kinda expensive if you're only going to wear it once though.

Yeah Accessorize is really good for berets (I guess those are the ones on the Monsoon link shown), that's where I get mine. Best ever were Gap angora berets Autumn/Winter 2004 but I think Accessorize is your best bet for now.

I advocate charity shops. So much cheaper, especially if it's only for dressing up!

I got my black and navy berets from Tie Rack and they were only about £8 each.

I got my beautiful white fluffy Baker Boy heat from River Island for £16

Larger branches of H&M are good for accessories, as are Accessorize and Dorothy Perkins.
