Stomach lines

Eurgh feel really stupid posting this, but here goes.

I have these horrible horizontal lines on my stomach, usually from when I'm sitting down.

I;m 17, 5'9" and about 9.5 stone - I run and use the gym and stuff but seem to have this really fatty deposit on my stomach. I know its perfectly normal for your skin to crease up but mine seems to get these huge red tramlines and it's just horrible. I dont for a moment think I'm fat - it usually looks fine when I;ve been asleep and it hasnt been folded over, but I dont know why it goes so red and horrible! THe only thing that occurs to me is that i might just have a particularly fatty area of flesh or something...

Any ideas?
Cheersx

Sit up straight then.

Post a pic... it's hard for us to take your word when many people blow their own image out of proportion. Not that I'm saying you are...

Everybody has those.
Seriously... sit up straight for a few minutes and they'll go away.

Most people store most of their subcutaneous fat on their lower back, abdomen and upper arms. (Depending on whether you're male or female, and on your metabolism etc.)

So everybody has horrible squidgy lines when they scrunch up their abdomen by bending over. It's just insulation  .

Anyway, you can burn it off by doing stomach-crunches. (They are EVIL and I think you'd be happier with the lines to be honest).
Or by rowing and swimming. Which are fun.
