I used Tresemme products over the last 6 months and I have had my scalped 'burned' and it actually became numb along my parting and very tender with nerve pain in other parts of my head. My ears and face have been affected too - very red and painful especially on my earlobes and around my face at my ears. Avoid this brand!!

Has anyone else found Tresemme hair products make them itchy or break out? Started using Tresemme heat protection spray and hairspray a couple of weeks ago, and over the last week my skin has become really itchy, and I've had a bad acne break out. The weird thing is my skin all over my body is itchy, even my legs, and it's not like my hair or any of the products will have touched my legs. Gonna try using different products tomorrow and see if it calms down, but I'm a bit gutted that I've spent money on something I'm irritated by, plus when I used to use Tresemme a few years ago I never had any problem. Hair products with macadamia oil also cause this problem for me, but I've checked the ingredients list and it doesn't include macadamia oil. Has anyone else experienced this?

Same thing happend with me i cant understand what shall i do now how to get rid of this itchiness what shall i do i will never ever use this shampoo in my life shee i hate this tresme
where did you purchase them from? If it was cheap then it's highly likely that it was a knock-off, a fake. Fake products are aplenty in the UK market. The UK government is weak on so many fronts. They don't have the desire to improve things so I suggest you do not purchase items that are cheaper than the usual selling price unless it is sold in a prominent place such as Selfridges or Boots.

I used to use Tresemme Moisturizing Shampoo and never had a problem. Until this new bottle. I have used it once and my scalp is incredibly itchy. I have long hair (to the middle of my back past the bra). The back of my neck and behind my ears are broke out and where my hairs touches my back is broke out. I do not shampoo the length of my hair. However, I do run my hands down the length real quick prior to rinsing the shampoo. My arms have also been quite itchy since my last shampoo - it may or may not be related. So, yes I have experienced this.

Beware of Tresemme shampoo and conditioner, I bought both bottles in 2005 and I have had eczema of the ear canal, in both ears ever since. I now have Tinnitus because of the eternal scratching. Despite prescription creams and seeing ear specialists., my life has changed for the worse. I would never want other people to go though the misery I have suffered and am still suffering.

So I recently had this issue. I started using a shampoo two days ago then ended up with this itchy bumps on my legs, elbows. Forearms, belly button and especially around my neck and scalp. I just went to my doctor and she said it was a reaction to the shampoo! I've never had an allergic reaction in my life. How awful.

I was using Tresemme for hair fall and didn't receive any results for 3-4 years. In fact, my hair got white while using that shampoo. Plus, This made my hair dry and frizzy. One reason could be that I was frequently switching my shampoos but now I have stopped that habit. Maybe you should try the same and switch to sulfate and paraben free shampoos. This won't give you instant results but after 3-4 months, it would be worth.

After using a number of shampoos for 7-8 years, I have switched to hair growth serum for 3 months and I am getting quite good results from that. My hair volume has increased a lot and feel so good when I touch it because now I can feel my hair, not the scalp. I really hope that continues forever...

My partner used TreSemme 4 Mousse in the bathroom at the far end of the house, downstairs. I could smell it upstairs. Then my eyes startedburning and my lungs started hurting, and I just felt horrible. I have seen worse lists of ingredients, but the product does containcocamidopropyl betaine, which the medical literature reports to cause allergic reactions. I don't think that human beingsevolved to handle a number of chemicals like that and cyclopentasiloxane, PPG-12-PEG-solanolin, etc.

TreSemme hair spray that my mom refuses to give up makes me nearly go into shock. This stuff should be banned. It gets all through the forced air system in the home and I’m breathing out of an open window in the Winter.

I have been fighting a losing battle with acne on my face, chest and back since giving birth to my children and tried everything under the sun to get rid of the problem. Last week, I decided to try going back to a shampoo I used to use before I had this problem, when my skin was clear, and I stopped using Tresemme. My acne disappeared within 5 days. I was thrilled but also very upset that not one doctor (saw GP, dermatologist, and Naturopathic doctor) ever asked me what products I used regularly, and only shoved the products at me that THEY wanted me to use/buy. I WISH there was at least one person out there who had suggested that this could be the problem so I could have had relief a long time ago. I plan to share this with everyone I encounter with skin issues, and I thank YOU for putting it out into cyberspace for me to confirm my suspicions about this horrible product. I can't believe I might actually have a blemish-free future, something I thought I'd never have. Best of luck to all of you.
Thank you so much for the detailed information, same thing just happened to me and i was starting to think i was crazy and doctors tried to say it's stress.
