Hi I got a reply from huddersfield yesterday inviting me for interview!
I was quite shocked as lurking on this site led me to believe that they don't interview - well I can inform you that they do.

that is very interesting indeed..............perhaps its because your a mature student..............? oR MAYBE THEY'VE FINALLY GOT ROUND TO CHANGING THEIR DAFT POLICY!OOPS scush the caps lock!

I'd like to think its because I'm special :biggrin:

. But no doubt its a change in policy... maybe.

When I was at my bradford interview last week I met a mature student who applied to huddersfield and she was sent a letter asking her to attend a podiatry interview! She went along to have a look and got talking to a podiatry student who had originally applied for physio and got pushed into podiatry. I thought it was a bit strange to be honest.

Lets see how it goes.

i've been waiting so long, i havent even checked my UCAS track for a week, but since i heard there replying to people, i log on about 2 times a DAY . LOL

looks like the waiting has paid off, just recieved an offer of BBB :biggrin:

...but the requirements on their site and UCAS are BCC. I'm guessing Huddersfield was over-subscribed this year

A department open day is going to be held on Weds. 29th

Hey Congratulations! I'm really worried now, why are they interviewing me....

The interview sounds like a nightmare too. I've not decided whether I'm going yet or not. I'm so indecisive.

Good luck with everything. Keep working hard at the A'levels. There is one good thing about being a mature student - no exam results to wait for!!!
