yay a bod mod society! i'm pleased.
i would definitely join
currently have 8mm tunnel, 9mm tunnel, 2mm tunnel, 4mm cartidlidge (stretching is so addictive), lower helix that i think is on it's way out.., rook, tongue web (self pierced, wouldn't recommend it, also on its way out), wrist surface.
tatoo wise, i don't believe in getting any until it would mean something to me. i have friends who simply get tatooed because it's fun, i.e. a friend of mine got a nemo tatoo on his wrist... while it was amusing for a year or two, now everyone just thinks it's sad, including him :P
i am VERY interested in scarification, i have a small S on my thigh, which didn't really scar as well as i'd hoped but it was done a while ago. i have actual scars from accidents that i'd like to cover, so i'm thinking i might get some scarification done.
something else that i would definitely be interested in, if it was easy to find in my area.. (damn living in the middle of nowhere), would be implants under the skin. due to the great health risks with these, you need someone decent and this area, there is nobody :|
this summer i'm going to get involved in suspension although i'm a little scared.. i think the experiences that people describe would be worth it

if you wanna join go to the socs part of TSR and then find bod mod society and click request to join.

I WAS going to get my lip pierced at some point, but after last night I don't think I will. I managed to knee myself in the chin, mouth and lip about 6 or 7 times, and the inside of my lip is in quite bad condition, and that's without a piercing to catch and tear!!

I'll just stick to ear piercings and tattoos I think. Damn I can't wait to get another tattoo done, and I've worked out what I'll do, but I'll wait till I get out to Canada before doing it. Canadians are generally better at drawing maple trees in my experience, mainly cos they know what they are :p: The guy who did my tattoo thought it was an Oak leaf!!

I've designed my own tattoos. The one on my hip was taken from the Savage Garden song affirmation and it says "beauty magazines promote low self-esteem" and I have vines trailing around it. The writing is 'curved' along my hip bone.

I designed the tattoo on my back as well. I don't like taking other people's ideas or using the flash, but I do like to have a look just to see the sizes of tattoos people have... That sounds strange, but I want a tattoo on my ankle, and I just want to see the smallest tattoo size which could fit on... (I want a small rainbow you see...)

The clear labret stud sounds like a retainer, and you can get some cool ones

Sorry this is well late but you can get well small tattoos!

My tattoo is literally less than 2 cm. cross.

Im into scarifcation and tattos but not really piercings. Also really into having body mods that only you/people looking out for them can see.

Want inner lip done next :P

You can, but sometimes tattooists wont tattoo a really small design, especially if it is really detailed, because the details can merge. Well, that was what I was told...

Well, I've finally designed my ankle/foot tattoo! Hoorah, lol, so i shall be popping down to the studio on Friday, if my throat infection clears up...

Yep, as the guys at my local parlour say, shrink an image of a roaring bear down enough and it'll look like an angry hamster :p:

cheers, i love my wrist but today it's having a bad day :frown: NOT COOL.

not on that arm no! it's annoying, it rubs. rather stupidly i got it done on my left hand where i would normally wear a watch, although if i had it on the arm (which i use more as i'm right handed) it would probably be irritated a lot more of the time. as it happens, i am allergic to some metal, (that commonly found on the back of watches) and so i had very dry skin on my left wrist where the piercing is, so it took ages to heal because my skin was all dry :s

Here's my piercings...

Not the best of pics as I took them quickly on my phone  My belly is soon to have an inverse done underneath it! :p:

This is what I have so far - single left lobe and tattoo on right shoulder.

I'm thinking about getting a second piercing in my left ear, so I can have my earring as in the photo. I had to put it like that when I got hit by a car and lost the ball so it wouldn't catch till I got a new ball, and I quite like it.

Need more tattoos though, but I'm gonna wait a while, see where my career paths go, and get something based on that. Could be my RCMP sheild, or a variation on the CASI logo.

It actually wasn't that red in real life, but I only had a scanner so I sorta had to press my tummy up against the glass and I don't think it liked it! Yes, it was henna. I had it done twice and I lvoed it both times, but I hate real tattoos.

It didn't get infected. The first time, the distance between the holes shrank rather rapidly from 11mm to 6mm, and then went from 6mm to 4mm overnight! So I took it out as I was scared it was growing out.
The 2nd time, it just went totally weird. I'm not sure whether it was infected, as as soon as I took it out all redness and soreness went. But before that it was very pussy (although it was a browny colour and not yellow or green) and there was a weird tube shaped bit of skin trying to grow up around the top ball.

I know what you mean about the tubey skin thing! I've got that on mine, although it's not 'growing out' as you describe it, it's when I push the bar through, so it's probably where the bar is stuck and is pulling the skin with it!

I don't like real tattoos either... too permanent for me. I've experimented with henna and loved it everytime, but I'd never love a tattoo that was there for ever, I'd get bored with it, or regret it when I start to get older and my skin loses it's elasticity... not nice!

Or, you could just follow my life style and probably not live long enough for your skin to lose elasticity!! LOL The life of the dare devil is a fun one, but someone's gotta live it :p:

I have 8 piercings: 3 in each lobe, 1 cartilidge, 1 inverse navel. I'm currently begining to stretch my right lobe - it's proving difficult :p: So I'm going to get my tattooist (also a peircer) to do it for me once I've got a 3mm in. Not going over 6/7 mm.

I have 2 tattoo's: 3 stars going from 'big' to small - red, pink and yellow -on my right foot - they're 'for' my nanna (RIP).

I have a heart with 'bat' wings on my stomach, which I've just had touched up and made to be prettiful  It's got purples and blues in it. As well as black, grey and white. It's lovely (to me). I'm getting one on the other side of my tum, with angel wings in about 2 weeks. I'm going to use the same colours, but reverse them.

Then I'm going to start drawing and planning the wings for my back. And maybe get somehting my mum is getting on my neck. I definately favour tattoo's over piercings

Going to head over and join the soc.

I think they look great and I want one!

I agree. They are gorgeous to look at too. I don't think I could ever go through with it though - and I'm really good at pain management :p:.

But I've being toying with the idea of getting a tattoo on my back made to look like a corset with ribbon coming through it. If you get me? It will take a good bit of planning. I know Dave (Wyper, "my" tattooist) would be able to do it and he'd do it pefect

But I've always said I'm reserving my back for "my" wings...so i'ts a hard choice :frown:

Aaah, we'll see  x
