how much would an anti-tragus cost on average with a barbell/labret stud? i'm seriously thinking of going in tomorrow to get it done.i'll have a wander for Bodycraft but if i don't find it i'll go to AAA.

i don't know about the size/gauge but you can easily ring your piercer tomorrow and ask them what the size/gauge is. since i can't see a bead/ball at the back, i'm going to assume it's a labret stud. but it could possibly be a barbell. i'd stick with labret stud though personally.

Thanks. I'm going to get a labret stud after phoning them tomorrow.

£20 i would have thought.. or maybe 15 if you're lucky. I seem to remember Bodycraft being overall cheaper than AAA.

ive been tempted by an ant-tragus... but the ear id want it in used to have a vertical transverse lobe piercing which went through the anti-tragus and left scar tissue.. not sure about it. hmm.

the piercing would hurt more because of the scar tissue, but that's it really. go for it!

for some reason, i thought an anti-tragus would be more expensive seeing as you're going through cartilage and stuff. god i can't remember how much my helix/tongue web and it was more than £20 me thinks.

for some reason i must be really dumb because i can't find bodycraft when i go looking for it. but JP at AAA is nice and friendly so i'd like him to do it for me. although as i'm out of a job, any money saving helps. i'm torn :s: :p:

bodycraft is up towards ice-nine... just past the 'Bodega' Social on the left and The Pit on the right... its down an alleyway on the left, with a tanning place i think. Its not bad in there.

i dunno about prices.. they did my labrets for £20 each. My conch was £20 (though not done there), i think my other 3 cartilage piercings were £15 each. Septum was surprisingly £30, but apparently its a more specialist piercing as relies on good placement

my vert transverse lobe was only £25 though.. i dunno, phone them up tomorrow! :p:

AAA is cheaper at £20/BCR and £24.50/barbell than Bodycraft £25, so i guess i know where i'm going.i know it's only 50p hehe but i'm kinda used to JP doing my piercings and it feels wrong going anywhere else lol. i hate how it's always cheaper with a ring that with a bar! some people just don't like the look of rings! :p:

And rings don't tend to heal as well as bars due to the movement of the jewellery during healing. I don't think I'd be bothered by the price too much as long as the piercer was great at what they do - quality comes over cheapness in my eyes.

When I had my first helix done, the piercer I went to (Yum Yum, don't think it exists now although it was sposda be coming back) wouldn't use a bcr.

actually it was the other way round or maybe i heard wrong, it was £25 at AAA. I'm loving my new baby it ''hurt'' like a ***** to the point that i nearly swore but started laughing and saying ow a lot. I'd told him I didn't want the numbing spray but he said I'd hate myself afterwards. He was right, even with the numbing spray, it hurt lol but yay it looks nice, i like it a lot

i feel JP's good and he's really friendly unlike the other guy so it's all good. I'll get a pic up later when I'm back home.

If you want an industrial, get it. I'm sure your boyfriend will live.

For future reference, if a piercing is infected you shouldn't take it out. I doubt your industrial was infected though, they are just very sensitive piercings and get easily irritated.

For your lip, I think about £20 is normal at most places. Might be more, might be less, depending on jewellery, studio and the area you live in. I suggest healing with a labret stud rather than a BCR. It'll take a few months to completely heal.

ok, attached a picture. It ''hurt'' like a ***** when i got it done even with the numbing spray but i absolutely adore it! it wasn't a bad hurt, it was like an 'ow laughing' sorta pain, or maybe the laughing was my substitute for swearing, i'm not sure. :hmmm: but i absolutely love it. oh you can't see the ball on the other side (but it's there!) because i asked JP to make it lower, it'd look cool being able to see the two balls, but i kinda like it like this.plus when it's lower, it heals better. can't wait for it to heal so i can change the jewellry and stuff at least now i won't have any bodmod cravings for a while

it looks awesome! the placement is really cool. Looks like a lobe piercing until you realise its too high and must go through the anti-tragus. i like piercings that confuse people :p:
