how long is an hamsters memory

any1 know? just that ppl say its very short but how come once the hamster gets to know u it trusts u all its life so it cant forget who u are

yeah, they do have memories and i don't think it wipes out like goldfishs do. i had hamsters, and they rememeberd where things were, and how they got out of situations before. oh yeah, and they acted like monkeys on the bars on their ceiling.

Also they started attacking each other after a while so we had to get another cage - it was really weird, as they used to sleep on eachother at night then kill eachother during the day.

My hamsters never trusted me. Infact one bit onto my finger and wouldnt let go so I had to sling him across the room using my finger as the slinger That hurt alot. And the other one was just crazy

we had hamsters like that once and they were really annoying cos they used the loud wheel late at night and wake us all up

Hahaha. Did anyone elses hamster get like a growth coming out of its rear end(not sure if it was its arse - just the back of it)? Looked like a little stump that the tale came out of. Maybe our hamsters were just crazy and fat.
