You ask out a girl and she says yes, what is the modern etiquette - weird question but I was thinking on the bus home what to say after you propose to a woman, wouldn't it be awkward??. Don't just say hug because you can only do that for so long and there is still the prospect of what to do after that!
And I'll use this chance to apologise for my previous thread about unprotected sex...sorry
If you love someone enough to propose to them, then I'd hope you'd have gotten past the "awkward" stage. If you were in the situation you'd probably find that you knew what to say .

I think if there was silence after you proposed to your girlfriend then there must be something wrong with the relationship!
There will be a million and one things to talk about after a proposal.
tell her there is a perfectly good bed at your house that you can bounce around on,
lol not really
talk about what she wants to do after you ask her out, dunt go staight in for the sticking the tongue down the throat as thats a put off as well, you want to talk before you do any of that, tell each other what you like about each other,
i dunno ive never actully been serious about going out with people, its all a big joke to me, ^o)
