    I cant see a logical reason as to why 'thank you' would be anything other than polite.
    Its just too nice and a bit weird...its as if shes done you a favour.

    Whatever you do, please don't immediately ring up or text a mate to say you've pulled. In reality, do blokes formally "ask girls out" - don't things just develop? Unless you're both very young (how sweet!)

    I'd give her a hug i guess - i spose its not so important what happens after Should just come naturally and you should just show that you're happy with the response (not overly, like skipping across the road yelling like a prat)
