Socially what is better Kcl or Ucl

I know i defiantely want to go to london next year but i am not sure which one of these unis is better socially. What is the difference in type of students each uni attracts. Which one is more international, state school, public school, rich kids.Basically which one are u more likely to have fun at. These details would be of help.thanks

UCl is definitely known more internationally tahn KCl
also if u check league tables like the TImes, ucl is about 6th whereas kcl is 16th
kcl has more state sch students than ucl
as for more fun :
kcl is in themiddle of london so clubs, attractionsand stuff are easier to get to. but ucl has a bigger SU and it does organise more stuff for students

Which subject are you looking to do. I'm still waiting on both for Law. If I had the choice of both I have no idea which one I would favour...

UMM!! UCL is 10min from Oxford St, Bond Street. Half and hour (walk) from Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Soho! One of the biggest gig venues is like 10min away, THE ASTORIA!!! UCL does seem to have a lot more societies and clubs (inc. sports) and the facilities are great! Kings does have a good location, but i prefer UCL.

Well, KCL defintely has the best 'social life', it's actually widely regarded as such. Although, unfortunately, that's about ALL Kings seems to be famous around London for. As for UCL, the best thing is that they seem to acquire an inflated ego and then you can rattle on about that 'international reputation' that basically doesn't even exist.

now now JS why don't you like UCL? They are quite decent academically wise and clearly don't have as inflated egos as places like Durham lol. We know you think LSE is the best, but bear a thought for those poor UCLers!

LOL, true, I doubt it's as bad as Durham. Then again, throughout London (n elsewhere!) you get a huge supply of undergrads who think theyve conquered the world by just getting into their 'oh so fantastic' university. LSE is probably the worst actually, in that regard.

Let the undergrads have their fun , I reckon the biggest perpetrators of them all then though are certainly the oxbridge undergrads, who think they're above the rest because they're there. Ahwell, I guess in the real world nobody particularly cares if it's LSE, Durham, Oxbridge etc so you gotta make the most of it whilst you can
