Help me out here, the indecision is driving me nuts!
(Btw: i know its not the ideal way to sort these things out, but it'll only be a single factor in my decision: i do intend to visit Cardiff, maybe that'll clear thing up for me!)

Well yeah, I think university decisions all come down to how it 'feels like' to the individual when they visit - it's if you 'feel' the same in Cardiff as you do in York then you'll be stuck!
But they are both so good for different reasons!
Does anyone know how big the gulf in class is between the two unis for psych?
If its not too massive, then i'd go for cardiff as its a nicer city.
But if going to Cardiff is going to hinder me in any way in the future, i'd want to go for york.
Any ideas?
It may be worth e-mailing the BPS to see what they think i suppose.
