Certain, choice instances; each, pertaining to a different girl; in chronological order:-

- My meticulous transcription of a poem to watercolour paper, using the paints and brush that she bequeathed to me (albeit, as an afterthought) for my eighteenth birthday.

- Her: "I'd still really like to kiss you."
Me: "Really? Oh, go on then."

- A belated 'Valentine's Day' compilation (among other things) which I intend to submit to her, presently, via post.

I suppose that I've always been more of a 'giver'.
Oh man, it's been so long.
Randomly in y3 a boy made me a valentine's day card.
On a school trip a few years later I became his 'girlfriend' and he bought me gifts everyday. While in return... oh, I tend to receive rather than give.
Always wanted to take a girl out under the stars (prepare sick buckets people)
I like the idea cos it gives u the impression that you're totally alone together (until sheep or something start herding across the field :p: )
But anyway wud be good - apart from the fact that in this country its always cold or raining!!!!!
i had arranged with my guy for us to meet outside the station and for him to walk me home, when i got there i called him, turns out hed got the times wrong, got there early, got bored, went home and was in bed when i called him. needless to say i was furious, made my anger known over the phone, got on the bus all teary, stormed home, ripped off my party clothes, only to get a text saying, 'im coming to see you if your not too angry' , i text him back, starting to forgive him saying 'sure, but it will take you too long' ..then get a text instantly saying 'im outside your door now if you want to see me'....turns out hed got out of bed and run all the way to my house (a good 20 min walk)to show how sorry he was..he was all sweaty but still..that was the most romatic gesture

i had one guy who fancied me for ages sneak an anon love cd in my bag for valentines day with the BEST love songs on it..that was SO touching..if i hadnt been with my guy id have fallen like a stone..i was actually in tears listening to it it was so sweet
my bf is always doing really romantic things. he's just really sweet. But the most romantic things are when we're together, just cuddled up and that. its really lovely

My boyfriend has done all sorts of sweet things for me, like randomly sending me surprise presents 'just because'.
However the sweetest things are when he always walks on the side of the pavement where the cars are, and the way he calls me his little princess

(well I like it anyway :p: )
yea my boyfriend has given me nice cards personalised with pictures that mean things to us. And when we broke up before he sent me a card with the most gorgous words of how he felt, i cried at that. I still have everything hes given me! So thoughtful. The best thing he did was get me a pink tv for my birthday, which i had seen when we were on holiday and he saw how much i loved it and brought it me. ahhh i wish we were still together n he hadnt broken up with me last week. stupid uni

Pretty Boy
Anyone else feel this has turned into a 'memememe' competition ?

What about you? Actually, scratch that: I can already conceive of something or other to the effect that you 'forgave her having the audacity to engage you in conversation outside wedlock: she wasn't to apprehend the subserviency of her station; that darling, naïve wench'.

Not exactly how I worked it out in my head!

The roses one - I wanted the roses to be delivered when you were in the common room, that way you would be given them in front of everyone. I even asked, Anna to make sure that you'd be in there!

Valentines Day one - I sent a card and forgot to write on the name! I got nervous and couldn't think properly (I thought I put it on, though!)... and the Kit Kat... hmm, I just thought it would be funny :p: The letter was nice enough though, I think

erm, I haven't got a romantic bone in my body, neither did any of my exes.

Done a few romantic things with my ex, organised a meal in an italian resturant for valentines day, and then a night at a hotel - Not overly romantic, but i was proud of what i did.

Most romantic thing ive done, is take my ex g/f up onto goodwood hill, and watch the stars, just me and her, total silence and a clear sky over looking west sussex/hampshire/isle of wight
my boyfriend just took me to rome for Valentine's Day/Our one year anniversary. In a 5* hotel and everything. was so perfect
mm I'm not a big sucker for romantic things- I'm not all that girly but I went on a walk on the Malverns (hills) with my boyfriend + I was too hot so he carried my coat, then at the top it was FREEZING and really windy and he held on to me cos I was scared I'd get blown over, then on the way down it was really icy and I kept slipping and he kept catching me. Felt really nice but I'm not sure if it's romantic or me just being a bit girly and pathetic?

i turned up at my then bfs house in a big black coat with nothing but knikers and bra underneath :P he LOVED it...

...and what my bf did for me...last yr my two best mates fell out and i was stuck in the middle and it was really upsetting me a lot, and so we were listening to a radio station another of my friends DJs on and he requested "She will be loved" by maroon 5 for me and said "if i cant be there to make u feel better then i will ALWAYS find someother way"
