I heard that food was rather bad.

Which is why I'm rejecting LSE despite my AAB offer.

You're rejecting LSE based on what you've heard about the food? Isn'y that a bit hasty. Where are you going to go instead?

Not only the food. It's the cost of living and I hate city life. I have gotten offers from all my universities (waiting for UCL) but I'm choosing between Bristol, Durham or Warwick.

You could try looking at the ucl discussion boards on their website. In the accomodation section some people have posted about the catered halls.

What halls are you going to choose?

Am very tempted to go intercollegiate, as they're cheaper, have more facilities and aren't that far away from the Economics faculties at both Unis.

Where are you heading for boo?

If I decide to go to UCL I'll pick Intercollegiate halls definitely. They look more modern and seem a lot better than the ucl halls. They're also more convenient than the majority of the ucl halls and you get to meet people from the other unis.

What are your main priorities? Catered accomodation? I definitely don't want to share a bathroom with about 10 people so ensuite is one of my priorities. Although in the intercollegiate halls (canterbury) u just have to share with another person which i wouldn't mind.

If you really don't like the food I'm sure there are kitchens in those catered accomodations for people to make their own food and u can always go out and eat.

I think my main piority is cheap lodgings (but not shared, i refuse to share a room), I'm so scared I'm gonna run out of money at uni (reaches for credit card application points).

Canterbury looks really nice. I bet these halls are hard to get a place in. I also want music facilities, unless the university has some that I can use.

At LSE they don't offer kitchens in catered halls - evil accomadation!

Have you filled in your UCL accomodation form yet? I don't think you can choose which hall you want. You're just allocated a place randomly depending on the most important factor in your preference of accomodation. I've chosen ensuite as my no.1 preference.

You putting LSE at your first choice?

Yeah it'll be my first if they offer, which means I won't be putting UCL down as they gave me AAA.
