bf worries

i've been going out with this guy for going on five weeks now, trouble is i don't get to see him very often as i'm away at university, so we've met up about 4 times while we've been going out...i saw him last about 9 days ago, but over this last week we've only had about 1 proper conversation and he hasn't seemed affectionate particularly and kind of distant. i know he's been busy with his mother's bday and work etc, but do you think this sounds like he's losing interest in me, and should i talk to him about it? it's just i don't want to be the whiney complaining type or be needy.. any responses appreciated :smile:

excuse me, at least you get to see him! LOL I only get to see my guy twice a year if I'm lucky, once if I'm not.

5 weeks isn't that long especially if you're apart a lot of the time. Maybe the distance has become a problem - talk to him about it :smile:

If he is doing something to keep him busy at the moment give him the benefit of the doubt. But if it continues and he is even distant on the phone then you could be drifting apart, either he has lost interest or he has gained some other new interest (whether or not he has acted on it). Some passive-aggressive guys and girls would prefer their partner broke up with them, and do this kind of crap deliberately to trigger a breakup. But watch, wait, and finally talk to him before doing anything.

he might just have been busy lately is all and a bit stressed,see how it goes next time you meet,or if you can't wait,speak to him before then. it happens to me sometimes,i don't see my bf often and sometimes we're off with each other for whatever reason like work or something. :hugs:
