I'd rather spend £2 on an enormous frosted doughnut filled with custard from patisserie valerie any day o the week
Where is this patisserie?

Euston and victoria have them.
go go go.
Some are mank. Some are great.

There's one in Paddington - i've never had them (havn't the funds) but I don't think they look that appealing .. much rather 10 doughnuts from tescos for the price of 1 of them

Trust me, you would'nt be saying that if you had tried them!
I haven't had them in a while, though my brother has a 'get a dozen free offer' in his uni discount book. Yum!

Has any one tried microwaving them? Do it for about 5-8 seconds & it tastes as if it was just made fresh again!

Yeah, Krispy Kremes are ace once in a while - I just generally go for the original ones, as they're delicious, although have tried a few of the others when I'm feeling experimental. Yum! :top:

Yeah Krispy Kremes are okay. The atleast come close to the US style glazed doughnuts. They're my favourite here.

But the best doughnut shops in America is Shipley's, then Dunkin Donuts. Even better than those, are the little Korean-family-owned doughnut shops that you find every 5 minutes of driving. There everywhere and are very good. You can get a dozen doughnuts for $3!! There really good.

In my opinion Dunkin Donuts do not even compare to the greatness of Krispy Kreme. I used to love Dunkin Donuts but then Krispy Kreme came along...

i think with krispy kreme; if they're too fresh i.e. just off the belt and very sticky and soft, they aren't their best. one the other hand, they get a bit hard after a day or so and aren't as fun then. a few hours old is the best time to consume.

Yeah, Dunkin's might not be the best, but Shipley's owns.

A girl into bodybuilding is more worrying than an expanding waistline.

I OD'd on Krispy Kremes ages ago ... what's in now is Colonial Doughnuts, they make the best old-fashioned doughnut I've ever had. And they stay open 24/7. But I don't think they're a chain, sorry.

I thought Krispy Kremes had an absurd amount of calories in them. Like 600 per doughnut or something...please tell me I'm wrong
