What medication would cause these side effects?

Hi folks,
Bit of an odd question for anyone who would be fairly in the know about the side effects of medications. What medication(s) are likely to be the casue of these side effects?

Sensitive Skin
Dry Lips/Nose
Nose Bleeds
Mood Swings
Possible suicidal tendencies (depression tests used as a precaution)
Sore Joints
Possible hair loss

The user is also not allowed any alcohol during the course which initially lasts for 4 months but can be extended for a bit longer after the initial phase.

Cheers for the help.
What's it for, is it a case study for medicine or pharmacology? I do pharmacology
Anyway if so I think it could be an anticancer drug such as Navelbine - can cause hair loss, muscle aches, bleeding, possible allergic reaction. Some other anticancer drugs can cause skin sensitivity so consider those too. I think the mood swings and suicidal tendencies may be to do with the disease and not the drug. Have a look at http://www.breastcenter.tmc.edu/clinic/breastcancer_info/chemoDrugs.htm or the British National Formulary website could help.
Roaccutane perhaps?

Yep, defo Roaccutane... the dryness, thinning of hair and nose bleeds are due to the Vitamin A blocking sebaceous oil production...as confirmed by my information leaflet with the packet! Works well for me , good stuff...buy a bumper pack of vaseline!!

Roaccutane though alcohol isn't contraindicated as far as I can remember

This is a random way round to ask the question! Normally you know the medication and ask for the side effects

A quick google search revealed Roaccutane is anti-acne treatment but bloody hell, i would rather have acne then those harsh side effects!

Cheers folks. Its a possible option for the puzzle. Its completely random and I can only but apologise. And yes, the side-effects are boody severe. I'd need to be completely covered, head to toe, in bleeding and infected spots to consider some of that wacky stuff. Keep the ideas coming though.

I took roaccutane and i'm none the worse for it...my acne was reasonably bad a couple of years ago..but nothing extreme - just made my skin really dry and made my lips bleed - had to have blood tests to check liver function perdiodically...other than that no probs...cleared my skin right up - it's the only thing that really works...4 of my cousins have taken it and they're fine aswell - with perfect skin i might add
Lecter

The result FARRRRR outweighs the side effects, I forget the terribleness of it all now i wake up and see my sexy face, lol

Why is the OP anonymous?

Either they are so ashamed of setting a puzzle?

OR

They're so embarrassed about being on an acne drug that they decided to post a puzzle in H&R about it?
