make things up. Go on it so that you don't get caught out, those who make it up are vague in their answers so can't get the higher levels. Go and you'll do better, simple.

blag is make it up.

We have private candidates all the time who do their own fieldtrips or find a local centre who offers AQA and go with them.

You can do your own fieldtrip.

If you want help, PM me, I happen to coordinate fieldwork and skills at uni level, and have a lot of experience with AQA Geography spec and fieldwork

General advice, do a fieldwork that interests you that mets the spec, I don't know edexcel spec to well, best one to do would be do something on human geography, wil lbe easier to carry out.

Personally found the fieldtrip a waste of £150+.
If you're a capable student; such as A/B level then don't bother, its easy enough to blag your way through it.
Just look at the mark schemes and see what the examiners are looking for.

Edit: I also did the Edexcel unit 2 exam, managed to get full UMS so feel free to PM if you want any advice on the fieldwork questions.

Nope. We went to Wales for 3 nights 4 days, but basically we just repeated the same thing every day in a different area.
Complete waste of time/money.

That is cheap for what you where doing, but I would question why it had to be so long for the paper, most places do it in a day.

For anything up to and including A Level I would expect to do something fairly local.

What did you have to do?

What did you have to do?
1st day we visited a wind farm for sustainibility and then betwsy coed for fieldwork
2nd visited a farmer to listen to a talk about adding value/sustainability and visited Llanberis to do a rebranding case study/fieldwork.
3rd was the day out in Llandudno to do more rebranding case study.
4th was the day out in Criccieth to do coast fieldwork.
5th day - only a little stop off on the way back, but we looked at an organic/sustainable farm.

So actually 5 days 4 nights... but alot of it was just repeated.

That doesn't to bad, but would expect that at degree level for a module or as a foundation fieldwork for a Disseration.

Seems to much for A Level, although good topic, something different.

Find a friend who did go on it. Ask them about it and look at their write-up.
