Sorry for this but I was well proud, I finished this at 4:40am and I reckon I smacked it! Read and you'll see. It's to do with perfect competition and economic efficiency. And now I'll have 2 and a half hours in bed. See you in the evening!

Cheers Juwel, I'll read that when it comes nearer exam time.

It's actually for module 5 (microeconomy) but will definitely help with module 1. I think. I'm quite happy I finished it though I made it into school at half 11 today! Start as you mean to go on eh...

I see what you mean, I felt that when I was answering it I could have done it after doing module 1. But there is extra A2 knowledge about perfect competition I needed...

UPDATE: Got a B for it.

15/20 for part A, lacking only a diagram of profit maximisation and technical precision.

16/30 for part B. Ouch. I tackled the question wrong, I put the emphasis on IT instead of competition. Note to self: always answer in terms of the economic concept.

Generally mine was one of the better ones in the class, others ranged from B to E. Our teacher's asked us to do it again by Friday, maybe an A this time.

Let's see mjg write something like this

perfect competition - I'm sure the other LSE candidates will agree, nice and easy competition for them!

He's probably already made the bottom of the rejection pile...

But hey, be spectacular in triumph and defeat, why not!

He hasn't noticed that even if he succeeds in his 1 in a million chance of getting an offer, that he can't get AAB.

He said if he fails to get into LSE, he'll resit another year of A-Levels and do A-Level Maths!

He got U first time, and then resat and got D at GCSE!
