I received an unconditional offer from City earlier this month with the following condition:

“Please provide verification of your qualifications to this institution”

I am initially from Sweden and I have sent a photocopy of my school-leaving certificate to the admission tutor. Should that be enough?

I thought that an unconditional offer basically means that I am in. Is this something I need to worry about?

    Thanks in advance,

    Fredrik

Not if you actually have the grades you say you did!

Does your school leaving certif. have all the grades on that you provided? If you're unsure just email admissions at City and check.

Can you request that the awarding institution sent an official copy direct? That might be the best, I don't think photocopies are accepted.

I have sent photocopies of my grades in PDF format prior receiving unconditional offers from two other institutions. The issue with City was that they asked me to provide verifications of my grades after giving me an unconditional offer…doesn’t sound very logic to me!

They probably want certified true copies of your certificates. This means you'll need to photocopy your grades, and have it signed and stamped by a representative of the school.

    That's what I did.

Initially I was asked to send the original certificates to them, but since I was an international student, they said they'd accept certified copies.
