What do you say if a guy says he loves you and you don't feel the same way?

There's no consolatory phrase really. Thank you and a peck on the cheek doesn't quite cut it i'm afraid. Don't know what you can really say...

How about:

Im sorry (if ur sorry), I don't feel the same way.

Keep it real.

How about the lips?

If you think you might feel something similar any time soon, just lie and say 'I love you'. Easy.

If you don't think you'll ever feel it, just lie.

Well you could, but you'd be a bit of a cu** if you did.

Well the first time it happened I'd phoned him up to dump him. We'd only been on like two dates so it's not like we were even going out properly. I was being all sweet and just saying, look I don't think this is gonna work and he was all like 'but I love you and you make me feel ... blah blah' so I was a bit of a bitch and just said 'I don't know why you're telling me this, it doesn't change anything. See ya.' The second time was a couple of years later. I was doing a summer job and he seemed nice enough and made me laugh. We had fun hangin' out and whatever and before I went back to uni he was all 'I love you, you're the dearest thing to me, I'd do anything for you' so yeah I lied and said 'I love you too' and felt pig-sick afterwards. But he kept phoning me at uni and whatever and it was just a summer thing for me and I basically told him I was busy at college and didn't want a long distance relationship. He was totally cut up 'cos he'd been messed around by girls before and was pinning all his hopes on me and I felt like a total cow. So yeah, I need a line people... c'mon!
