Sorry to hear that. :console: How come?

I'm just going to sit here and pretend I can't hear them. :tea: #responsiblechildminding

Is there any other way of dealing with children (and sometimes adults as well)?

Good afternoon, everyone!

'Twas a great day for cycling

And eating a burger

And cycling to burn those calories, too.

And losing a lung on the way, probably. Man, those hills will be the death of meh!

Lancs is a beautiful city, especially in days like today :yep:

:wavey:

Sounds good - did you go anywhere in particular?

Will you be around later? I'm still working at the moment, so I've probably got time for another hour away from my laptop before I stop for today...
Nowhere in particular, just around, trying to become familiar with driving on the other side of the road :s-smilie:

Not 100% sure if I'll be around, seeing that I'm feeling increasingly guilty over having neglected my reading for so long  Mind you, seeing my level of diligence in general..procrastination might just call at my door. And the bitch knocks hard
Some people just aren't worth the time you spend on them.

(Sproglets in bed, though definitely not asleep. I have free reign of the TV, the computer and the home cinema system including projector and screen, and have settled instead for TSR on my phone and a book about Fermat's last theorem.)
Wow, an LGBT chat thread? Cool

Hi all! ^_^

:hi:
Has everybody had a nice dayyy?
Off kayak surfing for the weekend tomorrow. Only issue is the weather forecast saying the surf will only be 40cm :wtf:

Still. It's an excuse to spend most of it drinking and having fun with canoe club folk!

Something extremely shocking and rare happened today.

I managed to get some intimate time with the other half :hubba:

Not enough to redeem himself for yesterday, but its a start.

Apparently I was waddling like a penguin at work :mmm:

I ate a lot today, didn't run at all. It feels weird being injured. It's like I have lots of free time now. Don't know what to do with my free time :frown:

The kids I'm babysitting are arguing in the next room. I'm just going to sit here and pretend I can't hear them. :tea: #responsiblechildminding

I don't like children... I don't mind them when they're babies though.

That's like, the least exciting way to smell of another guy.

Hahahaha.
It'd me more exciting if you shoplifted the perfume? What other more exciting way could there be to smell of another guy?

OH! That. *a bit slow*

I have no idea :erm: Maybe people are out having lives today..:K:

That's a great joke. I have no life, I can barely walk :cry2:

So so worried about taking the IELTS. Unf.
Good afternoon, fellas.

Ah, you'll be fine. So silly that I had to take the TOEFL, haha. UK unis are strange. Are you applying to uni next year? Good luck! :h:

Press a vibrator under your chin when you're getting to work down there. Just an innocent little tip
Hi gays, haven't been on TSR in a week or so :ninja:

Have been in Paris, which was nice and am now back in sunny, sunny Edinburgh.

Procrastination just broke into my house and stole my willpower!

But it left beer in return

EDIT: And an episode of Lost Girl :P

Well, hang around here a while and you just might perfect your English. Probably not your command of Standard English, though :mmm:

But don't worry, from statistics (at least in TOEFL) it's very very hard to fail it. You'll be fine, I'm sure.

Very true, although you'll quickly gain fluency in modern British slang.

Nope, you actually did wave. I just quoted you.

How did the interview go? =O

It was...interesting. It was clearly scripted, so a lot of the follow-up questions didn't make sense.

Her: tell me about a current news story.

Me: LIBOR scandal (not that interesting). It could result in increased regulation of banks.

Her: so what are the implications?

Me: ?

:sigh:

I'll be fine. It was a learning experience!
