Periods - Extreme mood swings! watch

How do you ladies deal with bad mood swings on your period!? I'm pretty sure it's PMS.

It is really ruining my life whenever I have them because I can't control them. I get really anxious, tense and depressed, with really bad mood swings. I feel sorry for my poor boyfriend who normally gets the other end of it. For the few weeks that I'm normal and happy etc, I tell myself to calm down when it comes and just ignore it, but then when I actually do get PMS, I can't control the mood swings no matter how hard I try

Thought it was the pill I was on, so came off it, but it's exactly the same.

Can doctors do anything for me, or are there any known ways you can deal with it?

I think most girls get some form of it.. My mood swings can be terrible and I'll be extremely emotional.. wouldn't take much to make me cry! lol
As long as your boyfriend understands why you're acting like that it should be ok with him I think my boyfriend has learnt already even though I havent been too bad with him lol
It doesn't affect my relationships or anything.. I just have a few days of being down and moody
If it really affects you, then go to a doctor. Theres probably hormones or something you could get to help control it
