how old are you? cos you really should've had a jab.

I'm 16, and I've had the BCG jab.

If you had the BCG jab at school, then you've been vaccinated against it so you should be fine. Your doctor really should be able to advise you and your family on what to do, and you could also get a check up as well if you're worried.
Don't worry, you'll be fine. TB isn't that easy to catch. Worry more about the super-viri such as SARS and H5N1 when they get here.

You're a little ray of sunshine, aren't you?

TB is rather contagious, but the BCG offers protection against it, and you should be fine. If you start to develop a cough, a fever or any other symptoms, try not to worry, but have a word with your doctor or maybe your dad's consultant. TB is treatable nowadays, with the help of antibiotics, but your BCG will probably protect you against it anyway, so you needn't worry.

Hope your dad feels better soon!
