I personally don't find black men attractive at all to be honest. I see them the same way I see other girls if you get what I mean. No attraction whatsoever... thats just my personal view. I think on the whole people are attracted to their own race. But yeah you see way more white girls with black guys as opposed to black girls with white guys.

In general I am quite attracted to black men I must say. Whether they are attracted to me is another matter. I am the opposite of a black man, since not only am I female but reeally fair skinned and ginger too. I guess opposites attract though?
mmmm.... love black men but there aren't many in NI :frown: I think it's the whole exotic stranger thing - or maybe I've just been studying Othello for too long!?

You're not necessarily attracted to people of your own race. I'm Asian but only find myself attracted to white men. I think it's partly due to what you are looking for personality-wise. I like the highly cultured, takes the girl to the opera, is very reserved in demeanor, has a sophisticated accent, quotes Shakespeare etc sort, which you just don't get in Asian men.

Black girls usually think they're god and refuse anything except the very best and go mental when they're wrong. Seen that so many times.

I beg to differ! All my boyfriends have been white, and thats not because i am only attracted to white men. The black boys (and i say boys not men) i went to school with generally treated the girls like crap, not that the white guys didn't just not on the same scale. Black women do tend to be seen as domineering and much more forceful about what they want, and maybe we are.

This is the most stupid "theory" I've ever heard. Who you're attracted to has nothing to do with your race, colour, culture etc. It's all individual choice. I personally don't find black men attractive and wouldn't get with one because from what I've seen they treat women like ****. Well Jamaican men anyway - My sister was with one for 2 years and he had a kid back in Jamaica and a wife and he treat her so bad. Anyway just my opinion. I mean this is the minority I'm talking about, not the majority. So no offence anyone!

what was posted wasn't supposed to be offensive, it was a general observation cheesecake you keep insulting people. All the discussion was meant to be about was peoples views on intercultural relationships...so anyones thoughts on this are welcome.

I don't think black girls think they are God, I just think they have been bought up to have a lot of self-respect hence the reason that black boys don't really get away with treating them like scum (the way they may try and treat some white girls and I am not saying that black boys dont treat some black girls like scum, just basically generalising). Also I would like to state that I do not think this is the reason y black boys date white girls it was just in response to the person who though black girls think they are God.

I think that's a cultural thing, not a racial thing and it just happens that some black women come from a culture in which it is acceptable for women to be very forceful and domineering. This might make them less attractive to your average white joe but not all black women are like that. I know a couple of very sweet, meek black girls.

I myself am forceful, domineering and don't suffer foolish men gladly. Then again I come from Kenyan culture and have four aunts who have children with absent fathers and they can't seem to do anything about it. Thus, I don't find what I've seen of the black male persona attractive.

But what you have to remember is that everyone is an individual, we all have our quirks, our good points and our bad. And you never know whom you might be attracted to.
