sleep problems

somedays i will get into bed and fall asleep striaght away, others it can take me a long long time, i am talking couple of hours or more, and i relly dont knwo why. it then frustrates me that i cant sleep, which makes it worse.

what does anyone do when they cant sleep, sometimes i just get up again and go on computer whihc i knwo does not help but i dont knwo what i shud be trying.

Better to lie in bed and read a book than go on the computer. Lying down in a warm, comfy bed is much more sleep-inducing.

I tend to find reading helps as I get lost in the book and my mind gradually switches off from my normal thoughts, if that makes sense. Whenever I have something on my mind, it keeps me awake, and reading helps me forget whatever I was thinking about.

I totally agree with the reading method because it works for me too.
reading helps me sometimes but i usually just end up unable to put the book down. best thing for me is just not to go to bed until im totally exhasted. alotho sometimes a hot shower helps just b4 getting into bed
