That depends what degree you've done and what job you're applying for, so its an unanswerable question in theory.

For economics, from what I've heard, probably SOAS. I believe the user "Socrates" Studies that subject at SOAS, so why not PM him.
SOAS looks better on your CV, particularly if you study economics. If you want a good campus, sporting facilities and societies I suggest you go to RH. If you want a job, however, come to SOAS. It also has the advantage of being internationally recognised.

I think Socrates does Politics.

and I would choose SOAS over RH because Soas is in the lovely centre, whereas RH is out in the sticks and i heard the campus was a little shabby.... not that that really matters of course, but you're bound to get a biased opinion in here anyway
SOAS over RH any day, plus you benefit from the UOL, you dont get that at RH. soas is great whatever course you do, employers are not bothered about your degree, but where you studied

I applied to RH and the campus isn't shabby at all - pretty fantastic infact.

RH is also part of the UoL, so that makes no difference.

Employers also are bothered about your degree.
i have the same dilema. but its for my insurance choice. bbb econ. for both.

i've been to rhul open day, and it was stunning, the founders is awesome. but i'm going to soas open day soon.

also, the answers here will be baised towards soas, because its a soas board. the same will be on the rhul board.

SOAS.

(And I'm not biased  )

Though I applied to RHUL too, and I think its a nice place. In the end, SOAS's specialisation and its central London location attracted me more.

Edit: I do BA Politics/IR and Law.
SOAS in internationally renowned, RH isnt.

depends on the course but for most of the courses definantly SOAS

Soas!
RH has a nice campus but then its in egham which is not great at all. You would probably get bored after a good 2 weeks,

Well I would say that you should visit both universities and choose the one that best fits you! Remember that university is also a very good time of your life to know other things than just study and think about your profissional life.

They are both good university's and in the times Global UK University rank (I am not sure if 2004 or 2005) RHUL is at 19 place while SOAS is at 22.

And ppl are right when they say that SOAS has a better international reputation, but in this case it will not make the difference, because the international reputation bonus that SOAS get's towards RHUL is not significant at all and will not make the difference if you get good grades at any of these uni's.
sorry, but i can't be bothered to read what other people wrote,

SOAS looks much better on CV, but RHUL is very good if you are doing english.
