I'm an italian girl and I think there's a lot of pretty girls in Italy. If she can cook as well then you're really lucky because our food is the best.

Positive.

Prefer them to North Europeans (and certainly to English girls, who are probably the among worst of Europe).

Right well I've lived in Italy for 12 years so I'm a bit of an expert (I'm an expat) Well, Italian girls are most definitely hard to get. You have to put loads of effort into even getting a chance at an Italian girl. they are generally very very chatty, friendly and loud. However I know quite a few that are very stubborn if not downright bitchy at times.
when it comes to them physically, they tend to be brunettes and short (I'm thinking around 5ft6" that is short for me at least  )

They're hard to get because have you seen the ridiculous amount of effort Italian men make?! It's verging on stalking :P

See the short think is really weird to me, a lot of the women on my dads side of the family are really tall! Like 5ft8 +

Boyfriends are always super scared to meet my dad.

To be honest he can be brutal. I remember when my eldest sister was 16 she was going out with some 24 year old guy (much to my father's disapproval) and basically long story short he pressured her into sex and the dumped her. And my dad heard him bragging about it in the pub, and knocked seven shades of s*** out the guy haha.

Yeah my dad chased my first boyfriend out of the house with a broom when he caught me in a minor state of undress when I was 16...!

but then again, Italian men wouldn't "stalk" if they gave it up easier!
Also when it comes to height, it is a relative thing, I'm 6ft so, someone who is 5ft8" is rather short (at least from my perspective) :P

What do you think of Italian girls? How are we seen by the rest of the world? What people says about Italian young women and women? I would like to know all thoughts and clichès, both positive and negative, about us. I'm really curious, please tell me everything about it
Thanks

Italian men are hot:wink:

Haha, my boyfriend is Italian! From what I've seen of his friends, they seem really chatty and fun, up for a good time and confident. My boyfriend says that Italian girls are really hard to pull though, which is why he liked it when he came to England because apparently you have to work really hard to get an Italian girl to dance/go out on a date/ kiss you, whereas here it's easy.

Bet you feel really special now then

As I said earlier, he had to work for it to get me -- 6 months' worth of work. So yeah, I do feel really special.

I live in the UK and have only ever met one Italian girl, and she is one of the prettiest girls I have ever met. She's not all that interesting really, but I am definitely moving over to find me an Italian bride ASAP!

I'm interested to know, what kind of ridiculous efforts? Any examples?

My 'stereotype' - short, dark hair, really chatty and usually very good looking. Very close together and family oriented, love pasta and pizza (as long as it is well made), generally open people (will say what they think), even though some will have unbiased opinions on things.

Also, they dress well.

Ouch! that sounds painful, but the guy sounds awful. My dad's only 5"3 so he probably couldn't do too much damage lol but you never know with Italian rage :L
