I think that the chicken comes before the egg - it has always been a chicken egg - not an egg chicken!?

This must be considered from a new angle, what came first a mother or its baby?

The mother. Think it through next time. Better to ask what came first, sperm or fetus?

The question was ITS baby, not a baby.
But in that case I would have to say the baby, for the same reason as the egg above.

I think you'll find the real question here is what came first, the biplane or the zepplin?
I totally agree, a chicken and another chicken have to get it together to make an egg

This has always bugged me.
If all chickens descend from the original chicken and the one that hatched from the egg, then all chickens since would have to be inbred.
Its the same with Adam and Eve, if they had kids, who did their kids reproduce with? their brothers and sisters or did they mate with their parents? If so then we are all inbred aswell?
If we are all inbred then we would be wiped out by now as we would all be doforemed or something.
(as you can tell i dont study science or anything but if someone knows a feasible answer i would love to be enlightened)
